As part of a major upgrade plan for Salford Priors, so that the site can host the backup data center, new switches were specced and installed for increased capacity, and bring the network up to an acceptable performance level.

During the first phase of this project 2 new switche stacks were installed, and networking equipment that was going to be kept transferred across to a new cabinet, Backup Server and Business Continuity Servers were installed and tested.

During the second phase of this project, and new wireless system was specced whilst on site, and the maintenance team installed the new solution moving from an aging Rukus systtem to a new Ubiquiti based solution.
